Hi there, we are curious adventurers and writers/creators of this blog.
We have made it our mission to rediscover our "back yard", find fun, exciting places, and interesting facts about our hometown. Mainly because Santa Cruz County Arizona has more than meets the eye. It is our mission to choose one location every two weeks, research it, visit it, and report about what we found here.
It began a few years ago, with a visit from out of state relatives. We took them on a tour around Nogales, not just to the places listed on "what to do" websites, but to places where only an insider would know about. After all, this beautiful county is our stomping ground.
For my husband, he says its all about Fun Work, and amazed that there is so much to do that we didn't realize.
Which bares the question, what don't we know about?
Now the plan is to go on an adventure, every other week to discover those places and things? Perhaps we will learn where the best view of Nogales lights at night are, or the best selfie spots with Nogales Sonora as a background. Maybe we will find caves, or discover who has the stolen Museum clock?
We hope you visit us every other week to see what we have discovered.
We will look into the history of one location every other week. We will provide as many links and resources as possible.
We will visit the location, take pictures and video when possible.
Lastly, we will share what we discovered on our blog.
